A Magic Location. A Historic Vibe.

At the heart of the camp is Alexandra Hall, a wide-open jam space that also hosts the amazing Saturday Night Concert.

The Crescent Beach ocean path is half a block away providing a beautiful natural space for reflection and exercise.

Georgia Strait Music Camps are a full weekend immersion into music, held at historic Camp Alexandra in the beautiful, ocean-side setting of Crescent Beach, BC. This historic seaside town provides the perfect setting for musical inspiration and natural relaxation. Accommodations are dorm-style, encouraging campers to socialize and meet new friends. Common room facilities provide lots of areas for musical jamming in different styles.

Our food is almost as famous as the music.

Healthy and hearty catered meals are a key ingredient of our music camps. Fresh ingredients are home-cooked with care (including vegetarian options) and served three times Saturday and twice Sunday, with evening snacks. Gluten-free options are available on request as well. A supper of soup and sandwich will also be provided on Friday evening.

We welcome all types of acoustic instruments to our camp and love to meet all types of musicians from beginners to advanced. We are a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community.

Your own bedding and pillow, towel, rain gear, warm clothing, instruments, music, voice, lyrics, a flashlight, earplugs, your well-rested body (we mean it!), and creative ideas.

The price covers six gourmet meals – including Friday night dinner, basic dorm-style accommodation, snacks, coffee, tea, and free on-street parking. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meal options are available upon request.

No smoking, drugs or pets on-site. The Georgia Strait Music Camp takes no responsibility for the safety of participants, their personal effects, instruments or vehicles. This is a closed camp for security and safety reasons. No visitors please.

Per current BC guidelines, we will not be checking Vac passports.
We would encourage people to test prior to coming to camp. If you feel any symptoms at all prior to attending, please notify the registrar, STAY HOME and your money will be fully refunded.
Campers will be encouraged to wear masks indoors, particularly at full concerts. If you feel symptomatic at camp, please mask up and speak with one of the Board members immediately.
