The Georgia Strait Music Camps are unique. From our Instructional Summer Camps to our relaxed Fall and Spring Jams, we create an environment where beginners and seasoned pros alike feel welcome and inspired. Join in. Play on.

Per current BC guidelines, we will not be checking Vac passports.
We would encourage people to test prior to coming to camp. If you feel any symptoms at all  prior to attending, please notify the registrar, STAY HOME and your money will be fully refunded.

No smoking, drugs or pets on-site.

A Magic Location. A Historic Vibe.

At the heart of the camp is Alexandra Hall, a wide-open jam space that also hosts the amazing Saturday Night Concert. 

The Crescent Beach ocean path is half a block away providing a beautiful natural space for reflection and exercise.

Georgia Strait Music Camps are a full weekend immersion into music, held at historic Camp Alexandra in the beautiful, ocean-side setting of Crescent Beach, BC. This historic seaside town provides the perfect setting for musical inspiration and natural relaxation. Accommodations are dorm-style, encouraging campers to socialize and meet new friends. Common room facilities provide lots of areas for musical jamming in different styles.

Our food is almost as famous as the music.

Healthy and hearty catered meals are a key ingredient of our music camps. Fresh ingredients are home-cooked with care (including vegetarian options) and served three times Saturday and twice Sunday, with evening snacks. Gluten-free options are available on request as well. A supper of soup and sandwich will also be provided on Friday evening.

We welcome all types of acoustic instruments to our camp and love to meet all types of musicians from beginners to advanced. We are a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community.

Your own bedding and pillow, towel, rain gear, warm clothing, instruments, music, voice, lyrics, a flashlight, earplugs, your well-rested body (we mean it!), and creative ideas.

The price covers six gourmet meals – including Friday night dinner, basic dorm-style accommodation, snacks, coffee, tea, and free on-street parking. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meal options are available upon request.
